Critical Review: Movie “Nikita Roy” –

“Nikita Roy Movie Review” Fear You Can’t See

Horror movies often scare us, but only until the ghosts actually appear on screen. If spirits are shown too many times, we stop being scared. “Nikita Roy” is a new kind of supernatural thriller that builds fear without showing a ghost directly. And that’s its biggest strength! So, does this movie impress? Let’s find out.

The Story and Plot

The movie explores the mystery of whether ghosts and unknown powers exist. Science doesn’t believe in them, but many strange things happen that have no easy answers. “Nikita Roy” tries to find answers to these questions.

The main character, Nikita Roy (played by Sonakshi Sinha), is a journalist who exposes fake gurus and witch doctors. She fights against superstitions. But one day, she herself gets caught in a trap with no way out. The story starts with Arjun Rampal’s character facing a silent, unknown fear that slowly breaks him down. Then, Nikita Roy enters, and the story goes through many twists and turns, searching for answers until the end.

This is a horror movie where there’s nothing really there, yet there’s still fear. This makes the movie fresh and different.

Acting

Direction and Screenplay

Kush Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha’s son, makes his debut as a director with “Nikita Roy.” Choosing such a subject for his first film was a risk, but it seems he really understands filmmaking. He has studied it well, gained experience, and researched the details, which you can feel while watching the movie.

The screenplay is solid. The writer clearly knew how to present scary moments and use camera angles to make them most effective. The movie feels a bit slow in one or two places, but it’s needed to tell the story well.

Cinematography and Other Elements

The camera angles, lighting, and sound design all work together to create a scary atmosphere that’s different from other horror films. The cinematography is good. The sound design is very strong, even though the music could be better. The colour correction and other visual elements match the story perfectly.

Good Points (Positives)

Bad Points (Negatives)

Overall Thoughts

“Nikita Roy” is not just about scaring you; it also makes you think and ask questions, and it provides answers throughout the film. If you want to see something different in the horror genre, this movie is for you!

⭐ Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
