Ahmedabad recently witnessed a colourful and lively celebration as Odisha Parab brought the rich culture of Odisha to the city. Held from 21st to 23rd March 2026 at the Gujarat University Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event created a bridge between eastern and western India through art, food, crafts and tourism.
Odisha is often known for its deep-rooted traditions and artistic strength. The State has a long history of temple architecture, classical dance and detailed handicrafts. Many experts in Indian culture often highlight Odisha as one of the few regions where ancient traditions are still practised in daily life. The event was organised by the Department of Tourism along with multiple departments like Odia Language, Literature & Culture, Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts, ORMAS, ADISHA and Mission Shakti.
