Kriti and the Darling actor will share the screen in Om Raut’s Ramayana-inspired film Adipurush. There have been rumors of a relationship between the two for a while. Neither of the stars, however, has provided confirmation.
A self-styled film critic started the rumor earlier this week that Prabhas and Kriti Sanon would be getting engaged in the Maldives the following week. Adipurush actor’s legal team has now commented, informing that Prabhas and Kriti are just friends. The rumors that they were engaged are unfounded.
Prabhas 43-year-old, one of the most eligible bachelors in Indian cinema, doesn’t seem to be planning a wedding. On the other hand, Kriti Sanon appeared alongside Tiger Shroff in Season 7 of the popular celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan. Karan Johar, the host of the program, stated that Sanon had been single for a while and that there had been rumors coming from an inside source that she and Aditya Roy Kapur would make a great match. Well, nothing noteworthy happened there either.
In the meantime, Om Raut is the director of Adipurush, which is produced by T Series and Retrophiles. The movie is expected to premiere on June 16, 2023. The epic Ramayana is the basis for the movie. Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh, the movie’s antagonist, while Prabhas plays Lord Ram. Sunny Singh will play Lakshman, and Kriti will play Janaki.
On the professional front, both Prabhas and Kriti Sanon will have a very busy year. In addition to the Om Raut film they are both working on, the actress’ upcoming Shehzada movie, which stars Kartik Aaryan, is set to premiere this month. She also has Anand L. Rai’s untitled film and Churiya, both directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and starring Tiger Shroff as Ganpath.
Prabhas has a busy itinerary that includes the highly anticipated Project K by Nag Ashwin, in which he will star alongside Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan, as well as Prasanth Neel’s Salaar, Maruthi’s Raja Deluxe, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, and others.
