The time has come! The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, the eagerly anticipated fantasy series on Prime Video, debuted two episodes today. While viewers are enthralled by the magnificent adventure of the fabled Second Age in Middle-earth, praise for the Amazon Original series is rife on social media.
Tamannaah Bhatia commented, “The detailing is kind of enigmatic and it takes you to another world,” while Hrithik Roshan praised the series as “incredible.” Kabir Khan, who was in awe, exclaimed, “I’ve never seen this scale in my life,” and he thanked the creators for their hard work. In contrast to Mini Mathur, a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien, who enjoyed “revisiting The Lord of the Rings in a unique manner,” Rasika Dugal was left speechless. Film producer Guneet Monga found the series “very cool,” and she is eager to see how it develops.
The J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay series examines Middle-Second earth’s Age history and is set tens of thousands of years before Tolkien’s original trilogy.
