National, 19th May 2023: Pratik Gandhi starrer Vaahlam Jaao Ne, an endearing and unpredictable tale of love, peppered with moments of laughter, is all set to delight the audience with its World Digital Premiere on 21st May on JioCinema. Also starring Deeksha Joshi along with Gujarati cinema’s stalwarts Tiku Talsania, Sanjay Goradia, Kevin Davey, Jayesh More, Kinjal Pandya, and Pratap Sachdev in prominent roles, the romantic comedy film showcases the life of a talented and aspiring musician, who finds himself entangled in a rollercoaster of emotions and unexpected challenges in his pursuit of love.
Set against the backdrop of Gujarat, Vaahlam Jaao Ne revolves around the character of Sumit Gandhi, played by Pratik Gandhi, a music director who falls in love with Reena, portrayed by Deeksha Joshi, a fashion designer who wants to be Ranveer Singh’s stylist. Sumit Gandhi is a new victim of love, but he does not see himself having a future without his love Reena. One fine day Reena’s father, a rich NRI businessman, comes to India to meet Sumit’s family, and from there on, unfolds multiple twists with hilarious chaos as the story moves forward. Directed by Hardik Gajjar, and produced by Jio Studios, the music of Vaahlam Jaao Ne has been composed by the popular composer duo Sachin-Jigar. During its theatrical run, Vaahlam Jaao Ne received a positive response as a wholesome family entertainer and had the viewers split with its comedy.
Pratik Gandhi spoke about the digital premiere of the film on JioCinema, “When I was approached to play Sumit, my first reaction was, oh! This one’s not an intense role. That came as a refreshing change. Vaahlam Jaao Ne’s story, and the fact that it is in my mother tongue was something that prompted me to get on this joyful journey. This isn’t your usual romcom, the quirk and the twist in the plot give it a very unique treatment, and we had a complete blast during the shoot of the film. It was heartening to see the audience reactions during the theatrical release, and the excitement has now doubled up for its digital premiere on JioCinema. I’m sure the families will enjoy the film together on their home screen.”
