The 13th edition of JFF 2025, the largest travelling film festival in the world, will debut in Delhi on September 4.
With its 13th edition, the Jagran Film Festival (JFF), hailed as the biggest travelling film festival in the world, continues its mission of “Good Cinema for Everyone.” The festival, presented by Rajnigandha, will be India’s biggest and most extensive cinematic celebration. It will begin on September 4 in Delhi, move to 14 locations, and end in Mumbai on November 16.
The Jagran Film Festival (JFF) has grown into a historic festival of cinematic excellence, cultural interaction, and storytelling since its founding. With special ceremonies marking the centenary of Guru Dutt, the 50th anniversary of Shabana Azmi in films, the 50th anniversary of the classic movie Sholay, and more, JFF honours cinematic giants this year. For their enduring contributions to Indian cinema, it also celebrates industry veterans Shyam Benegal, Manoj Kumar, Shaji N. Karun, and Pritish Nandy.
JFF 2025, which is organised by Srinivasa Santhanam, Anupama Bose, and Premendra Mazumdar and mentored by Subhash Ghai, Khusboo Sundar, Adil Hussain, and A. Sreekar Prasad, will include lively discussions with some of the best in the business, such as Shabana Azmi, Shilpa Shetty, R. Balki, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shruti Mahajan, Amit Sadh, Vineet Kumar Singh, and others.
Delhi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Meerut, Agra, Ranchi, Patna, Hisar, Ludhiana, Gorakhpur, Dehradun, and Mumbai are among the 14 cities it will visit. At each stop, there will be masterclasses, retrospectives, exclusive premieres, and conversations with celebrated actors, filmmakers, and storytellers.
“Jagran Film Festival has developed into one of India’s most inclusive and far-reaching cultural movements, celebrating the legacy of Indian cinema while embracing bold, global narratives,” said Basant Rathore, Sr. VP-Strategic and Brand Development, Jagran Prakashan Ltd. We renew our faith in the ability of film to spark debate, motivate change, and create cross-cultural understanding with each edition. The 2025 festival carries on this tradition by showcasing fearless voices, classic tales, and fresh viewpoints from throughout the world. Our mission at Dainik Jagran has always been to inspire and bring people together, and through JFF, we support tales that transcend genres, generations, and geographical boundaries.
