Ranveer Singh is promoting his forthcoming film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and is quite busy. He will appear in the film as a Gujarati man who must save his wife and pregnant kid. In a recent interview, he highlighted his desire to work in non-Hindi films as well, saying that he has been discussing it with his wife Deepika Padukone, co-star Pooja Hegde, and others to gain a better understanding of the situation.
“I am longing to do an English film, which is my second language,” he told India Today. I mostly work in Hindi, but I’d want to make something in English. I don’t know Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam, but I’d like to learn. I keep chatting with my friends and coworkers and asking them how they work in other languages. I recently completed a film with Pooja Hegde and was trying to figure out how to execute it. Deepika Padukone is currently working on Nag Ashwin’s multilingual film with Prabhas. That excites me, and I want to learn more.”
“I’ve collaborated with my equivalent actors from the South, including Mahesh Babu,” he remarked. I’ve seen Dhanush, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Tarak (Jr NTR), and Mahesh Babu in action, and I’m a huge fan of their work. All of the professionals who work in Chennai, including Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman, are legends! So, sure, I have a great deal of love, respect, and awe for you, and I never see you in a negative light. I consider it to be one. For me, it will never be ‘we versus them.'”
So, we’re hoping to see him in other languages as well. The actor is preparing for the May 13th release of Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Cirkus is also set to be released this year.
