Newz Daddy Political Updates
Senior RSS pracharak Ma. Shri Madhubhai Kulkarni (Madhav Vinayak Kulkarni) passed away today in Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) at Dr Hedgewar Hospital. He was 88 years old.
He died at Dr Hedgewar Hospital, a charitable hospital in Aurangabad, which has many beds and treats many patients from all walks of life. Madhubhai Kulkarni was known for his strong health even in old age, serving people and working with young swayamsevaks. His death marks the end of a long life dedicated to RSS service.
Ma. Madhubhai Kulkarni served as Gujarat’s Prant Pracharak from 1984 to 1996. He joined the Sangh in 1942 and has worked as a pracharak since 1962.
Madhubhai Kulkarni’s service spanned decades. From joining RSS in 1942, he saw India gain independence, and he saw many changes in society. Becoming a Pracharak in 1962 meant he gave up many comforts, travelled, stayed in small centres, built shakhas, and guided youth. As Gujarat’s Prant Pracharak from 1984 to 1996, he worked to strengthen RSS presence, training new swayamsevaks, organising camps, and meetings. Many people respected him for his steady leadership.
He had pledged to donate his body. As per his last wish, his body will be taken this evening to Ramchandra Institute of Medical Sciences, R. K. Damani Medical College, Sambhajinagar.
This shows Madhubhai Kulkarni’s commitment to giving even after death. Body donation helps medical students learn anatomy and surgery, and saves lives by helping train and research. R. K. Damani Medical College will use his donated body for these purposes. Many in RSS feel body donation is a way of service.
His mortal remains will be kept for people to pay their respects at the RSS Samarpan office until evening. Many swayamsevaks, followers, and associates will come to offer condolences. His death is marked with respect. Many leaders and followers will carry forward his teachings. His last wish to donate his body shows his care for others.
“Prant Pracharak” is an RSS position where one leads the Sangh work in one province (or “prant”). It involves guiding many shakhas (local units), organising events, and mentoring workers. Having such long experience (from 1962 till many years) means he influenced many about RSS values. RSS had many pracharaks who joined young. Joining in 1942 means he witnessed many historical events (India’s independence, changes in society, etc.). That gives a depth of experience in guiding newer generations. He had pledged to donate his body. As per his last wish, his body will be taken this evening to Ramchandra Institute of Medical Sciences, R.K. Damani Medical College, Sambhajinagar.
Body donation is honoured in many ethical and medical traditions. Donated bodies help medical students learn anatomy and surgery. R.K. Damani Medical College will use it for medical science and education. This act shows his continuing service even after passing. Many RSS pracharaks and other social leaders choose body donation as a final service to society. It reflects values of sacrifice and helping others.
