Critical Analysis of Gujarati Movie “Interview”

Interview: A Slice-of- Life Path of Love and Duty

The emotional slice-of-life movie Interview transports you to the morning of Nachiket, an average middle-class lad, through his daily routine. His first job interview. Though basic, the narrative is full in emotions, humour, and the relevant challenges people experience as they move from carefree young to the weight of maturity.

The Everyday Hero: Nachiket

Nachiket is not someone you would particularly notice in the throng. In many respects, he is average—academic and social included. His sheer will and the love and encouragement he gets from his family, nevertheless, define him. Under the constant encouragement, Nachiket sets off a voyage full of life lessons and humour.

One Day of Dreams and Challenges

Starting from the time Nachiket wakes up with excitement and anxiety coursed through his veins, the movie masterfully depicts the six vital hours of his life. He wants to obtain the position that will not only transform his life but also make his family proud. Like any normal day, though, he faces unanticipated challenges including missed alarms, wardrobe breakdowns, and time pressure.

Notwithstanding these difficulties, Interview adopts a light-hearted attitude to life’s volatility and incorporates comedy to help to ease Nachiket’s stress and worry.

A Trip towards Love and Responsibility

Nachiket’s journey throughout these six hours is about growing up rather than merely getting ready for an interview. It’s about learning to manage anxiety, overcome phobias, and yet have the bravery to dream large. He discovers that experience, setbacks, and help from those who love him define responsibility rather than age by itself.

The movie masterfully shows how profoundly one’s attitude and perspective could be shaped by even the most basic events, such as a quick breakfast with family or few consoling words from a loved one.

Touching Events that Resonate

The way the “Interview” presents family dynamics is noteworthy. The emotional centre of the picture is formed by Nachiket’s loving, encouraging, and subtly nudging connection with his parents. Many of us can remember the mild (or not-so-gentle) ways our families have helped us in trying circumstances, hence these events provide the audience a great sense of relatability.

Interview is ultimately about the development Nachiket goes through on this brief but powerful day, not only about whether he gets hired. It’s a meditation on how often the little events of life help to define us.

Positive Points

Negative Points:

In conclusion

The feel-good, inspirational movie Interview reminds us of the need of family support, the virtue of tenacity, and the need to appreciate the tiny ups and downs of life. This movie encourages us to stay on even if the road seems unclear since it speaks to the dreamer in every one of us.
