On Monday, Marvel Studios unveiled the long-awaited teaser trailer for Chris Hemsworth’s Thor: Love and Thunder. The film is directed by Academy Award winner Taika Waititi and is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase IV (MCU).
The clip features various bright themes and is reminiscent of the 1980s. Thor, the God of Thunder, was seen handing over the throne of New Asgard to Valkyrie at the end of Avengers: Endgame so that he might travel around the cosmos and seek the meaning of his life. To be a part of the Guardians of the Galaxy’s adventures, he has joined them.

Sweet Child O’ Mine, a song by the rock band Guns N’ Roses, opens the trailer with guitar notes. Thor declares that his hands are now employed for peace in a montage. The teaser also has a strong resemblance to the 1976 sports drama Rocky.
The lyrics of the song Sweet Child O’ Mine are relevant to Thor’s life.
The song’s first lines are as follows:

It reminds me of my childhood.
Everything was as crisp as the clear blue sky “.
The song may have been picked for the trailer to emphasize Thor’s reminiscences of his boyhood days when his loved ones were close by.
The song’s next few words are as follows:
“Every now and then, I catch a glimpse of her face.
She transports me to that magical location.
And if I stare at it for too long, I’ll definitely cry “..
Thor is likely depressed as a result of the deaths of his mother Frigga, father Odin, and sibling Loki. In addition, Asgard has been utterly devastated, and the majority of his Avenger companions have perished.

The imprisoned giant in the trailer could be a god who was killed by Gorr, foreshadowing the latter’s murderous rampage.

In a crimson sleeveless jacket, Thor debuts his new outfit. According to the toy leaks, Thor’s new look will be Ravager Thor. This is a reference to Peter Quill’s original band, the Ravagers.
Several elements from the comics were used in Thor: Ragnarok. The designs of American comic book artist Jack Kirby appear to have been taken from the trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder. Several of Thor’s outfits in the trailer look to have been inspired by Kirby’s paintings.
The Guardians are shown in the clip amid primitive blue alien-like beings wielding spears. They could be characters from the comics called Interdites, who Lady Sif mentioned in one episode of ‘Agents of Shield.’ except for Gamora, all of the Guardians feature in the trailer.
It’s possible that the Guardians are fighting foes who shoot layers. Kraglin is also seen, utilizing Yondu’s fin and arrow, and Groot appears to be a little older.
Thor, on the other hand, may have felt unwelcome by the Guardians, prompting him to leave them.
After that, the Guardians abandon Thor to a location that looks to be Sakaar, an artificial trash planet created by the Grandmaster in the Tayo star system and ringed by multiple wormholes that deposit space waste.
Two Goats In Front Of The Ship
Then, with two goats in the front, we observe a spacecraft being hauled away from New Asgard.
Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr, the goats who draw Thor’s chariot in Norse mythology, could be the goats. Thor is journeying through universes with Valkyrie and Korg.
The ship in the video has the words ‘Cocktails and Dreams’ written on it, which is a chain of bars featured in the 1988 Tom Cruise film Cocktail.
A pirate ship is also depicted in the trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder, with a dead Kraken in the background. The Kraken is a huge sea monster that appears off the beaches of Norway. Gorr may have assassinated the Kraken.
According to the official synopsis of Avengers: Endgame, Thor recruits Valkyrie, Korg, and Jane Foster, who has transformed into the Mighty Thor, to stop Gorr from annihilating all gods.

Zeus is the Greek god of the sky and the most important deity. Zeus was the god of the heavens, sky, and weather in the comics, and he was a member of the Olympians. For millennia, he ruled a calm Olympus. Russell Crowe, an Academy Award winner, will play Zeus in Thor: Love and Thunder.

In New Asgard, there are cruise ships and a van with the words ‘New Asgard Tours’ inscribed on the back. As a result, New Asgard is now a popular tourist destination. Some of the structures are covered in gold, indicating that the Asgardians have begun to reclaim their wealth.
At An Energy Conference, Valkyrie
Valkyrie appears at a meeting on renewable energy. She’s dressed in a suit and appears to be bored. Miek has matured and can be seen in the background.
The Roxxon Corporation, a major petroleum industrial corporation in the Marvel Universe, may have convened the energy conference. Roxxon has been involved in a variety of questionable or unlawful acts in the comics, including violent crimes, and is a frequent foe of many superheroes.
The Behemoth, Falligar
Thor and Korg are shown looking at the body of a god named Falligar the Behemoth, who was killed by Gorr in one of the scenes.
The scene is right out of a comic book.
Falligar was a friend of Thor’s and the patron god of the Galactic Frontier. Filligar’s body is currently decomposing on his homeworld’s shores.
Thor may have traveled to Falligar’s homeworld to warn him about Gorr, but he was killed before he could reach his friend.
Jane Foster in the role of the Mighty Thor
Jane Foster is shown wielding the Mjolnir and transforming into the Mighty Thor near the end of the trailer.
Jane was diagnosed with cancer in the comics while Thor was fighting Gorr.
Jane refused Thor’s offer to treat her with magic, claiming that she is a human who wants to be cured with the medication available on Earth.
Thor eventually loses his worthiness and is unable to wield the Mjolnir.
Mjolnir, on the other hand, begins reaching out to Jane, and Heimdall transports her to the Moon, where the weapon is kept.
Jane takes up the Mjolnir and absorbs Thor’s abilities, transforming herself into the Mighty Thor.
Hela, on the other hand, shattered the Mjolnir in Thor: Ragnarok, shattering it into fragments.
The Mjolnir has been stitched together, according to the toy leaks. Jane’s ability to lift the Mjolnir may be due to her previous infection with the Aether, or Reality Stone, which may still be coursing through her veins.
Jane wields the Mjolnir someplace on Earth in the teaser, and Thor is astonished to see her. In the background, there are cars and what appears to be a battle.
