Newz Daddy Entertainment Updates
Ahmedabad is ready for one of its most exciting Navratri celebrations with Saiyar 2025, a festival that aims to blend traditional Garba with modern creativity. Garba is not just a dance; it is a prayer to Goddess Ambe, and in Gujarat, it is celebrated with unmatched devotion and grandeur. Events like Saiyar 2025 not only keep the tradition alive but also add new dimensions to how people experience this cultural treasure.
At this festival, music will play a central role. Famous singers like Osman Mir, Amir Mir,Aghori Muzik, Pooja Kalyani, Shivam Barot, and Piyush Gadhvi will bring their unique styles of Garba to the stage. Osman Mir is widely respected for his soulful voice in both devotional and folk music, while Amir Mir is known for his traditional and fusion singing. Aghori Muzik has created a big following among the youth with their experimental sounds that connect modern beats with Gujarati folk rhythms. These artists represent the evolving face of Garba music while keeping its roots strong.
The event is organised by Mantra Events and Dvija Events, with the management led by Garba experts Ronak Makwana and Devanshu Vasava. Both have been associated with large cultural festivals in Gujarat, and their experience ensures smooth coordination and innovative planning. At the announcement, they were joined by Jainam Davda, Chetan Prajapati, and Vatsal Nayak, who also play active roles in promoting Gujarat’s folk traditions.
The festival will run from 21st September to 1st October at the Ahmedabad Cricket Centre on SP Ring Road, a massive 1,40,000 sq. ft. venue. Such large grounds are essential because Navratri in Ahmedabad attracts thousands of participants every night. The stage will feature dazzling lights, advanced sound systems, and village-inspired décor to give both traditional and modern vibes. The city’s Garba culture has always been about scale, and Saiyar 2025 aims to set a new benchmark.
Each evening from 7:30 PM to 12:30 midnight, Garba will be followed by Mandali Garba. Mandali Garba has gained huge popularity in recent years because it allows groups to dance together with high energy, creating a community-like atmosphere. The beats of dhol and shehnai add a divine touch, reminding participants of Gujarat’s folk heritage.
Pre-Navratri nights will feature Pooja Kalyani, whose melodious singing has made her a favourite among Garba lovers. During Navratri, performances by Narendra Rao, Kirti Rao, Priti Patel, Shivam Barot, Sita Rabari, Anita Rana, Piyush Gadhvi, Osman and Amir Mir, and Aghori Muzik will keep the energy alive. Each of these performers brings a unique style—while Sita Rabari is loved for her traditional folk songs, Piyush Gadhvi is known for his spiritual and bhajan-style Garba. This wide lineup ensures something for every age group.
The organisers have also given priority to safety and regulations. Permissions from the traffic, fire, and police departments have been secured, and the venue will have CCTV surveillance, medical teams, emergency exits, and security checks at entry points. With a capacity of more than 10,000 people, crowd management is crucial, and these arrangements are designed to make the festival safe and enjoyable.
Adding to the festive mood, the decoration theme for this year is Rustic Village. Visitors will see colourful folk art, traditional props, and uniquely designed photo spots for social media sharing. Entry gates will carry creative designs to give people a grand welcome. Such details matter because Navratri is as much about cultural pride as it is about devotion.
Saiyar 2025 is not just about music and dance but also about food, fashion, and community. Food stalls will serve Gujarati delicacies, while traditional attire like chaniya cholis and kediyas will showcase the rich culture of Gujarat. Navratri has always been a celebration where people reconnect with their heritage, and this event aims to bring that feeling back strongly.
As organisers put it, “Saiyar 2025 is an experience where Garba means music, music means community, and community means celebration.” This Navratri, Ahmedabad will witness a festival of rhythm, lights, and devotion, where every beat of the drum will echo Gujarat’s cultural soul.
