The show, which spans two timeframes, centres on a young Indian agent who goes on a clandestine mission to unearth state secrets and hidden realities. Inspired by actual events, Salakaar narrates the tale of a distinguished spymaster who successfully disarms hostile forces to protect national security out of sheer willpower and vital intelligence. Only available on JioHotstar on August 15, Salakaar is a compelling story of bravery and sacrifice that is layered with mystery, action, and patriotism.

It will be very interesting to see that if JioStar continues their pathetic strategy of releasing one episode every week or they will release all episodes at once. The producers should understand that the audience likes to watch these kinds of spy thrillers at one go, that is, binge watching. The audience feels distracted from the story; they do not like distractions or breaks while watching spy thrillers or courtroom drama, such as criminal justice. I highly recommend to Jiostar producers that they please stop this annoying and pathetic strategy of releasing one episode weekly, and release all episodes at one go.
