On April 10, a man from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, who introduced himself as Roki Bhai, called the police control room. On April 30, he expressed a desire to kill the actor. The Mumbai police announced that more inquiry is being conducted. Officials from the Crime Branch and Mumbai police are attempting to find the caller.

Security has reportedly been increased in front of Khan’s home. Due to a suspected threat to his life, the actor has already received Y+ category protection and a bulletproof vehicle. In response to threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Salman just purchased a bulletproof SUV. At the April 10 premiere of the trailer for his upcoming movie “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” he was spotted pulling up in the bulletproof SUV. The movie is scheduled to premiere on April 21.

Prashant Gunjalkar, a frequent visitor to Salman Khan’s Bandra home and owner of an artist management firm, filed a complaint with the Bandra police department regarding the threat e-mail.

According to the email, Bishnoi’s close friend and Canadian mobster Goldy Brar requested to speak with Salman Khan. It made reference to the interview with Bishnoi during which the imprisoned mobster made the death threat. It advised the actor to speak with Brar “face to face” if he wanted to resolve the issue. Future “consequences” were also included in the warning.
In connection with a threat sent through email to Salman Khan’s Mumbai office last month, the Mumbai police detained a man from Rajasthan. The Bandra police station team apprehended the man, a resident of Rajasthan, and brought him to Mumbai, an official said.
