Sargam Koushal of India is Mrs. World 2022, bringing the title back after 21 years. – Newzdaddy

Her husband is a member of the Indian Navy, and Sargam Koushal has previously worked as a teacher in Vizhag.

At a gala ceremony in Las Vegas today, Sargam Koushal, who is representing India, was named Mrs. World. Mrs. Koushal defeated competitors from 63 nations to return the trophy to India after a 21-year absence.

The managing organization of the Mrs. India pageant announced the news on Instagram with the caption, “The long wait is over, it’s after 21 years we got the CROWN back!”
Jammu and Kashmir native Sargam Koushal released a video expressing her joy at winning the championship.

“After 21–22 years, the crown is back with us. I’m overjoyed. “I love you, India, and I love you, globe,” declared the newly minted Mrs.

Mrs. Koushal reportedly has a master’s degree in English literature, based on her Instagram posts. She mentioned that her spouse is a member of the Indian Navy and that she had previously worked as a teacher in Vizhag.

The first pageant for married ladies is called Mrs. World. The Mrs. America Pageant served as the inspiration for the creation of the pageant in 1984. The pageant’s original name was Mrs. Woman of the World. Only in 1988 did it begin to be recognized as Mrs. World. Over the years, more than 80 nations have entered Mrs. World, with Americans producing the most victors.

India has only ever claimed the coveted Mrs. World crown once, in 2001, when Dr. Aditi Govitrikar did so. Currently serving as a judge for Mrs. India Inc. 2022–2023, Dr. Govitrikar.
