The State Bank of India (SBI) and Mirchi, a prominent entertainment company, joined hands once again to host the 4th edition of the SBI Green Marathon. This event, held on March 24th in Ahmedabad and Jaipur, marked another successful chapter promoting fitness and environmental consciousness across India.

The SBI Green Marathon is India’s largest eco-friendly marathon, encouraging participants to adopt a greener, fitter, and healthier lifestyle. Every runner received an organic T-shirt and a plant-able BIB, underscoring the event’s commitment to sustainability.

Through the Green Marathon, Mirchi and SBI aim to provide Indian consumers with a platform to focus on both their health and environmental conservation.

The marathon received active support from Mirchi RJs and ambassadors from the running community, who engaged with participants and provided motivation throughout the event. Participants were also rewarded with cash prizes, hot breakfast, and goodie bags, enhancing the overall experience.

Environmental Commitment:

SBI and Mirchi collaborated with Skrap, a waste management agency, to recycle waste generated during the event, showcasing their dedication to environmental conservation. Skrap will release a detailed report on the amount of waste recycled, reaffirming its commitment to transparency and sustainability.
