Sevalay Centre Chandkheda Opens Doors for Patient Care
Sevalay Centre Chandkheda Offers Medical Gear and Health Info to Patients in Need
A new Sevalay Centre was opened at Janatanagar in Chandkheda on Sunday evening. It has been started by the Late Shri M.K. Mishra Foundation.
This centre will give patients important medical equipment for their treatment. The Sevalay Centre will provide hospital beds, wheelchairs, oxygen machines, walkers, nebulizers, and other equipment.
- In many parts of the country, such equipment is not easily available to patients.
- The Government of India has started new schemes to support the medical device industry. These encourage the production of medical equipment within the country.
- The government gives up to 20% capital subsidy to companies to boost local production.
- Common facility centres are being set up to test and build medical devices with better quality.
This means that Sevalay Centre will not only help patients but also support better healthcare and local manufacturing in the future.
Atul Mishra and Anil Mishra, the founders, said the centre is dedicated to their late father. The foundation will not only provide equipment but will also give people information about different schemes by the central and state governments.
Many families in India set up trusts or foundations in memory of their loved ones. This creates an emotional connection with the community.
Giving correct information about government schemes is also important. Many people still do not fully know about Ayushman Bharat or state health schemes. At Sevalay, people will get this information, which will help them get free or low-cost treatment.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mayor Pratibhaben Jain, BJP Gujarat Vice President Gordhanbhai Zadafia, City President Prerakbhai Shah, Gandhinagar South MLA Alpesh Thakor, Dariapur MLA Kaushikbhai Jain, Bapunagar MLA Dinesh Singh Kushwaha, Standing Committee Chairman Devangbhai Dani, SMS Hospital Superintendent M.M. Prabhakar, and ONGC Chief General Manager Sanjay Tripathi.
The presence of leaders and officials gives the event more respect and recognition. It helps the foundation build support, get funding, and gain community trust.
During the program, Anil Mishra and Atul Mishra explained the work of the foundation.
When an organization shares its goals clearly, it builds public confidence. Such models can inspire similar centres in other areas. NGOs like Americares India also supply medical equipment and services to those in need.
The Sevalay will give patients hospital beds, wheelchairs, oxygen machines, walkers, nebulizers, and other tools.
These devices can be life-saving, especially oxygen machines for those who have breathing problems. Regular maintenance and quality checks are important. India has certification systems like ICMD+ to make sure equipment is safe and up to standard. Many companies also donate equipment through their CSR projects.
In short, the Sevalay Centre in Chandkheda is not just a place to borrow medical equipment. It is a centre that:
- Gives patients access to government health schemes.
- Supports the local health system.
- Acts as a model for other regions.
- Builds trust in the community.
Along with service, information, transparency, and care are also very important. This is what makes this initiative stand out.
