Sizzlers & Starlight Brings Back Pure Winter Joy in Style

Newzdaddy Fashion and Lifestyle Updates

As winter settles softly over Ahmedabad, the city is once again drawn to one of its most loved seasonal dining gatherings. ITC Narmada has brought back its popular al fresco experience, Sizzlers & Starlight. The return has already stirred excitement among food lovers, as this yearly tradition marks the start of long, cosy evenings spent outdoors with good food, warm grills and live music. Curated by Executive Chef Gaurav Lavina, the 2025 edition is celebrating crisp winter nights, glowing lights and the rich aromas of fresh sizzlers cooked in the open air. It creates a night out that blends comfort, flavour and the charm of dining under a clear winter sky.

The dinner-only event is taking place at the Adalaj Pavilion Lawn inside ITC Narmada. It runs from Friday to Sunday, 7 pm to 11 pm, all the way till the end of January. The outdoor lawn is known for its peaceful setting, and during winter, it becomes one of the most attractive dining spaces in the city. Guests are settling into the gentle winter chill, soft lighting and live music that adds warmth to the calm night sky. With the city getting colder in December and January, open-air dining becomes a popular choice, and Sizzlers & Starlight fits this mood perfectly.

For this year, the food experience is wider and more varied. The chefs have created four different menus, with each menu being offered on different weekends. This rotation brings freshness and variety, giving people new reasons to revisit. Diners can explore different flavours every time they come, which keeps the excitement alive.

Each weekend menu features many sections. There is a soup bar with warm choices like Burmese Khao Suey, Laksa and Tom Yum, which are especially comforting during winter. These soups are known across Asia for their bold flavours, and they balance heat and comfort very well. The salad spread is colourful and full of seasonal items, with mezze platters, fresh greens and lettuce bars. Seasonal produce is being used widely, as winter vegetables in Gujarat are known for their freshness and sweetness.

Interactive live counters bring more fun to the evening. The Burrata Bar, Tapas Counter, Fajita Bowls, Poutine Station and Fusion Chaat Corner are giving guests many ways to personalise their food. These stations show a mix of Indian and global tastes, which reflects the way modern Indian diners enjoy experimenting with flavours. Live counters also help guests watch the cooking process, understand ingredients and enjoy a more engaging meal.

The highlight of the event continues to be the sizzlers. They come with a mix of Indian, Asian, Mediterranean and Tex-Mex inspirations. The kitchen team has focused on handcrafted spice mixes, fresh marinades and unique pairings to keep every plate exciting. On different weekends, the menu brings dishes like mustard-brushed seafood, Japanese grills, Tex-Mex rice bowls, Indonesian rendang and regional Indian sizzlers. This variety mirrors global dining trends where comfort food and flavour-rich dishes remain top choices for winter evenings.

The main-course section draws from ITC’s strong culinary heritage. Dishes such as Paneer Lababdar, Bhatti Ka Murgh, Murgh Musallam, Teen Mirch Ka Salan, Subz Lagan Mela and several fragrant biryanis continue to carry ITC’s classic style of deep, slow-cooked flavours. These dishes are served with traditional sides that help complete the winter comforting feel.

The dessert section rounds off the evening with a mix of bakery favourites and warm, sweet treats. The live dessert counter serves soft-serve ice cream and molten cakes, which are always popular with families and young diners. Winter sweets also add a festive touch, as many Indian homes enjoy warm desserts during this season.

Sizzlers & Starlight continues to be one of Ahmedabad’s favourite winter indulgences. In 2025, the experience brings together food, music, weather and open-air joy, making it a memorable way for people to celebrate the season. For many regular visitors, this event has become a tradition, and the return of the 2025 edition is seen as a highlight of the winter dining calendar.
