Star of Darlings Alia Bhatt responds with “main kyun” after hearing Kesariya from Brahmastra being mocked. – Newzdaddy

Alia Bhatt is now promoting her next movie Darlings, which also marks the actress’s debut as a producer. Under the umbrella of Eternal Sunshine Productions, the actress has funded the dark comedy, which also stars Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Mathew.

Darlings, Alia will next be seen in Brahmastra, where she will share screen time for the first time on a major motion picture with her husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor. The Kesariya song was the highlight of the teaser, and the producers decided to release it as the first track from the soundtrack instead of Deva Deva, which they had originally planned to release first. Deva Deva will now be published on August 8.

However, the song Kesariya, which was penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, arranged by Pritam, and sung by Arijit Singh, was mocked for having the lines “Love Storiyaan.” When Alia was recently in Delhi to promote the song La Ilaaj from Darlings, the actress addressed this criticism.

The Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani actress added in a statement to the media, “Gaana number one pe hai, toh main kyun complain karun! Why should I protest when the song is number one on the charts? She is correct; ever since its release, Kesariya has topped the music charts.
Earlier, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva director Ayan Mukerji defended the lyrics, and even Ranbir Kapoor responded to the memes generated about the song as he was promoting his most recent film, Shamshera, which was a box office failure.
Speaking of Darlings, it will be available on Netflix starting on August 5. Darlings, a film co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan under their production company Red Chillies Entertainment, is directed by Jasmeet K. Reen in her feature film debut.
