Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University and CCRH Sign an Agreement to Promote Collaboration in Homoeopathic Research and Public Health
historic collaboration with the Ministry of AYUSH to promote innovation and scientific interchange in homoeopathy and related fields
The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), an independent organisation functioning under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University (SSIU), located in Gandhinagar, have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Last week, Swarrnim House on its Adalaj campus hosted the signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding. In the fields of public health and homoeopathic medicine, the partnership will create a number of opportunities for collaborative research, academic endeavours, and exchanges. In front of top representatives from both schools, Dr. Ragin Shah, the provost of SSIU, and Dr. Subhash Kaushik, the director general of CCRH, formally signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
The MoU aims to further interdisciplinary research and technology intervention in the fields of homoeopathy, healthcare, life sciences, and social sciences by utilising the combined resources and skills of SSIU and CCRH. Swarrnim University and CCRH will collaborate on research projects that are in line with national health priorities as part of this collaboration agreement. They will also host workshops and seminars and promote scientific brainstorming sessions. Additionally, the MoU will facilitate training and intellectual exchanges between the two organisations.
“This partnership reflects our commitment to advancing integrative healthcare through scientific research and innovation,” said Shri Rishabh Jain, President of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University, about the agreement. Our goal is to establish a strong platform for information sharing, evidence-based research, and transformative learning in the field of homoeopathy by collaborating closely with a national organisation such as CCRH. We think that these kinds of partnerships will influence how healthcare is provided and how people in India are treated in the future.
It is anticipated that the agreement will strengthen Gujarat’s position as a leader in integrative healthcare research and pave the way for new industry-academia collaborations in the homoeopathic and pharmaceutical industries.
On behalf of the university, Dr. Ragin Shah, the provost, Dr. Hiren Kadikar, the registrar, Dr. Amita Peter, the principal, Dr. Harsh Trivedi, the deputy registrar, Mr. Jiten Thakkar, the incubator manager, and Mr. Minesh Prajapati, the head of the Swarrnim Institute of Entrepreneurship, continued to attend the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding. Director General Dr. Subhash Kaushik and Senior Research Officer Dr. Harleen Kaur represented CCRH.
