Swarrnim students reflect on NEP 2020 and its impact through essay writing

The School of Management, Commerce, and Liberal Arts at Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University held an essay writing contest to commemorate the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’s fifth anniversary. Twenty-eight students participated in this event, which aimed to promote a more thorough examination of the NEP’s mission and guiding principles.
Faculty members Dr. Kavita Kshatriya, Dean; Dr. Sourbhi Chaturvedi, Director; Dr. Bharati Vidhani, Head of Department; and Dr. Shashikant Bhagat, Head of Department, oversaw the competition. Assistant Professors Mr. Sanjay Thakor and Dr. Anil Borkar organised the event.
The competition gave students a great opportunity to voice their thoughts and recommendations about educational improvements, with an emphasis on developing writing, analytical, and research abilities. After the contest, three winners were announced: Nayi Rutvik D took first place, Roshni Gajjar came in second, and Naresh Jangid came in third.
This essay writing contest was a significant effort to increase students’ critical involvement and awareness of the NEP. It inspired them to delve deeply into the policy’s vision, assess its possible effects, and suggest workable implementation plans, developing a deep comprehension of its revolutionary objectives.
The occasion turned out to be a stimulating experience that allowed students to fully interact with the NEP’s goals. It emphasised the vital role that young people would have in influencing Indian education via thoughtful discussion and creative problem-solving.
