Swarrnim University Empowers Future Healthcare Professionals Through PHC Field Exposure

Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University’s Aarihant Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Institute, Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga, organised an academic visit to the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Adraj Moti, to provide students with practical exposure to community healthcare delivery.

The visit was designed to strengthen students’ understanding of primary healthcare systems and bridge classroom learning with field-based public health practice. During the visit, students studied the structure and functions of a Primary Health Centre and observed essential healthcare services delivered at the grassroots level.

The academic visit offered valuable insights into Maternal and Child Health (MCH) services, family welfare programmes, and the implementation of national health programmes at the primary care level. Students also gained practical understanding of referral systems, patient record maintenance, and the operational framework of rural healthcare services.

Through direct observation and interaction, students were able to understand how preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare services are delivered efficiently in community settings. The visit helped clarify key concepts related to public health administration and strengthened students’ practical knowledge of healthcare systems.

Such experiential learning initiatives reflect Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University’s commitment to outcome-based education, academic excellence, and community-oriented healthcare training. By integrating field exposure with academic learning, the university continues to nurture socially responsible and professionally competent healthcare practitioners prepared to serve with knowledge, empathy, and impact.
