Teen author Dvisha Shah’s debut poetry book connects with young hearts

Dvisha Shah, a 16-year-old AIS School student, just debuted her first poetry book at Ahmedabad’s iHub Gujarat. Emotions, life, and self-discovery are among the topics covered in this poignant collection of poems that is organised into three contemplative sections.
As the book’s illustrator, Dvisha’s close friend Manya Patel added a visual element that exquisitely accentuates the text.
An inspiring and joyous atmosphere was created by the presence of educators, literary enthusiasts, students, and family friends. Dvisha’s poetry was commended for its expressive language, emotional depth, and themes that young readers could identify with.
“Writing is my safe space,” Dvisha stated during her speech at the event. This book serves as a window into my worldview, and I hope that anybody who reads it finds solace, courage, or just a grin.
