Avatar, the Academy Award-winning 2009 epic adventure film directed by James Cameron, is scheduled to be re-released in theatres on September 23 of this year. Three months before the premiere of Avatar: The Way of Water, the movie will be re-released in Indian theatres. On December 16, 2022, the movie’s second act will be released in theatres all around the world.
In case you missed the first half of the movie or were unclear about the characters and their plot, you can now watch it in theatres starting on September 23. As we previously announced, the eagerly anticipated sequel Avatar: The Way of Water will be available on December 16 of this year.

Beginning on September 23, 20th Century Studios will release Avatar: The Way of Water in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam theatres for a two-week run of the 2009 film.
In May of this year, the film’s creators released the teaser. Avatar: The Way of Water, which takes place more than ten years after the events of the first movie, tells the tale of the Sully family—Jake, Neytiri, and their children—the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep one another safe, the struggles they face to survive, and the tragedies they experience.

Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet are among the cast members of Avatar: The Way of Water.
Avatar: The Way of Water begins to chronicle the narrative of the Sully family, the peril that follows them, the lengths they take to keep each other safe, the fights they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure, according to Disney’s official description for the upcoming Avatar sequel.

Winslet broke Tom Cruise’s record for the longest underwater breath-hold in a feature film after learning to hold her breath underwater for the role and for the movie, according to Variety. Winslet spoke to the magazine about what it was like to reunite with Cameron so long after Titanic “Jim and I have completely changed from the individuals we were 26 years ago. I am now unquestionably more energetic whereas he is calmer.”
