Find out how Suneel Darshan has created a classic with his new film, Andaaz 2.

With a promising new cast, Suneel Darshan unveils his latest love story during a grand welcome for Andaaz 2 in Ahmedabad.

The famous film-maker Suneel Darshan and the main cast of his much-awaited movie “Andaaz 2” arrived in Ahmedabad, bringing with them a dazzling wave of cinematic enchantment. The press conference took place in Ahmedabad’s Narayani Heights. It was a pivotal point in the movie’s marketing campaign, creating buzz among moviegoers and across media channels.
Andaaz 2 Opens a New Chapter

Suneel Darshan, who is renowned for creating some of the most recognisable romantic dramas of the 1990s and early 2000s, now presents a novel love tale that captures the changing nature of contemporary partnerships.

When asked by Suneel Darshan why he opted for newcomers in his film Andaaz 2 and not established actors, he said, “I had written the story way back, and when I started working on it, I realised that this story demands fresh faces, and hence I cast the new faces.”

Suneel Darshan went on to say that “Ayush came for the role of the friend of the lead character, but I saw that there is immense potential in Ayush, and hence I selected him for the lead role.

While retaining the emotional depth and melodic soul for which Darshan’s films are renowned, Andaaz 2 examines the delicate balance that exists in today’s fast-paced world between love, identity, and goals.

“I felt the desire to go back to the place I love after a long break—a good, wholesome love story that spans generations. Speaking to the media, Suneel Darshan declared, “Andaaz 2 is not just a sequel; it’s a reimagining of romance in today’s context, with characters that feel real and emotions that linger.”

The main male character in Andaaz 2 is played by the promising newcomer Ayush Kumar. “Working with Suneel sir has been nothing short of a dream,” he stated in reference to his debut. In addition to being a director, he is also a mentor who knows how to get an actor to be honest. Playing my multi-layered character, who is caught between duty and desire, has helped me develop as an actor and as a person.

In addition to Ayush and the two gifted female stars, Akaisha Vats, who is well-known for her work in music videos and online media, contributes poise and passion to her part. “This movie allowed me to be both strong and vulnerable,” she revealed. Every young lady may identify with my heroine as she navigates questions of love and self-worth.

With experience in South Indian movies and advertising campaigns, Natasha Fernandez gives her part nuance and elegance. “Andaaz 2 is about choices, not just love,” she continued. It concerns the tendency for our hearts and minds to pull us in various directions. Being a part of a movie that deals with emotions so maturely makes me proud.

On talking to Natasha, she said that “I had worked with Suneel sir in the past, but due to unavoidable circumstances, I went back to Delhi and took a long break of 7 years. But Suneel sir remembered me and he called me two years back, asking me to come to Mumbai as he is willing to cast me in his upcoming Romantic Movie Andaaz 2. I was so happy and a bit surprised too.”

Andaaz 2 promises a wonderful musical experience, staying true to the tradition of Darshan’s earlier flicks. The upbeat anthems and heartfelt romance ballads on the soundtrack are meant to win over young people’s hearts. Soon to be released, the tracks are anticipated to take over playlists.

“Music is the lifeblood of romance, in my opinion,” Darshan said. “With Andaaz 2, we’ve created compositions that heal, lyrics that reverberate, and melodies that linger.”

Andaaz 2’s enduring ties to Gujarat are what further enhance its uniqueness. Almost 95% of the movie was filmed in the cosmopolitan cities of Navsari and Surat. These places were picked by the filmmakers not just for their scenic value but also because they truly captured the essence of the story.

Director Suneel Darshan stated, “Gujarat is not just a place for us—it’s where the story breathes.” “Our film had a unique identity because of the warmth of the people, the distinctive character of Surat and Navsari, and the cultural richness of the state.”
