The release of ‘RRR’ has been postponed due to an increase in Omicron cases.

Due to the escalating incidences of Omicron in the country, SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated upcoming film ‘RRR,’ which was set to enter theatres on January 7, 2022, has been postponed. Due to the shutdown of theatres across the country, the film’s producers were forced to postpone its debut.

“Keeping the best interests of all interested parties in mind, we are compelled to postpone our film,” the film’s producers wrote on Twitter. Our heartfelt gratitude to all of the fans and audience for their unwavering support.
“In spite of our relentless efforts, some situations are beyond our control,” the producers of “RRR,” said in a statement. We have no choice but to ask you to hold on to your joy as many Indian states close theatres. We pledged to bring The Glory of Indian Cinema back, and we will do so when the time comes.”

‘RRR,’ directed by SS Rajamouli, stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in pivotal parts. Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn are seen in important parts in this much-anticipated film. This period action film, based on a fictional narrative involving two Indian rebels, also features Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, and Shriya Saran in supporting parts.

‘RRR’ depicts the tale of the events that occurred in the lives of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, with Ram Charan portraying Sitarama Raju and Jr NTR portraying Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, respectively.
