What Helped ALLEN Ahmedabad Students Crack JEE Advanced
ALLEN Ahmedabad’s JEE Advanced Success Shows Why Support Matters More Than Pressure
JEE Advanced is considered one of the toughest entrance exams in India. Every year, lakhs of students appear for the exam with the dream of getting admission into the prestigious IITs. Behind every successful result, there are years of hard work, pressure, sacrifices, discipline, and emotional ups and downs.
This year, ALLEN Ahmedabad has once again delivered impressive results in JEE Advanced 2026. But during my conversation with Mr Pankaj Kabra, Zonal Head and Vice President of ALLEN Ahmedabad, one thing became very clear. Success in competitive exams is not only about marks or ranks. It is also about mindset, emotional support, and the environment around a student.

According to the results declared by IIT Roorkee, ALLEN Ahmedabad students performed strongly in both quality and numbers. Classroom student Jayant Garg secured All India Rank 340, while Archit Balodiya secured AIR 348. Both students earned places in the Top 500 ranks across the country. Another student, Krutarth Patel, secured AIR 520.
The institute also recorded strong overall numbers. ALLEN Ahmedabad had 7 students in the Top 1000, 23 students in the Top 2000, 46 students in the Top 5000, and 76 students in the Top 10000.
One of the biggest achievements this year was the number of students qualifying for counselling. A total of 175 students from ALLEN Ahmedabad qualified for counselling, which is said to be the highest from any institute in Gujarat. Last year, the number stood at 123. This jump clearly shows the growing competition level and the institute’s consistent preparation system.
But beyond the numbers and ranks, Mr Pankaj shared an important point that many parents and students often ignore.
He said that students who score very high marks in Class 10 do not always have a naturally high IQ level. According to him, the real test of intelligence starts in Class 11. That is the stage where students have to think differently, solve problems using logic, and move away from the memorisation mindset that many follow till Class 10.
This statement reflects the reality of competitive exams in India today. JEE Advanced is not just about studying for more hours. It tests how students think under pressure, how they apply concepts, and how they manage stress during preparation.
During the discussion, Mr Pankaj also spoke about the role of parents and institutions in a student’s journey. He said that three groups play an equally important role in helping a student crack JEE Advanced and enter an IIT. These are the parents, the institute, and the students themselves.
In today’s competitive environment, students already face huge pressure from expectations, social comparison, and fear of failure. In such situations, emotional support becomes just as important as academic guidance.
Mr. Pankaj strongly believes that if a student fails to crack the exam, parents and institutes should not immediately blame the child or focus only on mistakes. Instead, they should support the student emotionally, help rebuild confidence, and motivate them to start again with a positive mindset.
He said that one exam cannot decide the future of a student. Proper guidance, encouragement, and a healthy environment are necessary during difficult times. According to him, mental support plays a major role in helping students recover from disappointment and move forward in life.
His words are important because many students preparing for competitive exams silently struggle with stress and self-doubt. Sometimes, they need understanding more than criticism.
At the national level too, ALLEN Career Institute created history once again. The institute produced an All India Rank 1 in IIT-JEE for the third consecutive year. With this achievement, ALLEN has now produced 7 AIR 1 holders in IIT-JEE history.
The institute also repeated its historic achievement of securing All India Ranks 1, 2, and 3 together for the second time. Earlier, it had achieved the same milestone in 2016.
This year, ALLEN students secured 6 out of the country’s Top 10 ranks, while 24 classroom students featured in the Top 50 nationwide.
Leading the national results was Shubham Kumar from ALLEN Kota Classroom, who secured AIR 1 with 330 marks out of 360. Kabir Chhillar secured AIR 2 with 329 marks, while Jatin Chahar secured AIR 3 with 319 marks.
Another proud moment came through Arohi Deshpande, who became the All India Girls’ Topper. She secured AIR 77 with 280 marks and is also a classroom student from ALLEN Kota.
In the online learning category, Yashvardhan from ALLEN Online Live Courses secured AIR 52 and delivered one of the best results in the online segment.
The success stories are inspiring, but the bigger lesson from this conversation was about balance. Competitive exams are important, but a student’s mental health, confidence, and emotional strength matter equally.
Ranks may open the doors to IITs, but support, guidance, and resilience are what truly shape a student’s future.
