In a stunning display of cricket prowess, Nepal achieved a series of remarkable records in their T20 match against Mongolia at the Asian Games in Hangzhou. Led by Kushal Malla and Dipendra Singh, Nepal secured a record-breaking 273-run victory over Mongolia, making it a day to remember for Nepalese cricket.

Kushal Malla’s performance stood out as he smashed a century in just 34 balls, making it the fastest T20 hundred ever recorded. This remarkable feat surpassed the previous record of 35 balls held jointly by India’s Rohit Sharma, South Africa’s David Miller, and the Czech Republic’s Sudesh Wickramasekara.

The records didn’t stop there. Nepal also achieved the highest team total in T20 cricket, scoring 314/3. This marked the first time a team crossed the 300-run mark in a T20 match. Dipendra Singh contributed to the fireworks by achieving the fastest T20 fifty in just 9 balls.

The partnership between Kushal Malla and Rohit Paudel was simply astonishing. They added 193 runs in just 65 balls, providing the backbone of Nepal’s innings. The fireworks continued with Dipendra Singh, who smashed eight sixes in a record-breaking nine-ball fifty.

Nepal’s innings concluded at a formidable 314/3. However, Mongolia’s struggles continued during their run-chase. The entire innings lasted a mere 79 balls, with Mongolia managing just 41 runs. Only one batter reached double figures, and no partnership exceeded 9 runs. In a dismal batting performance, Mongolia’s batters collectively scored only 18 runs, including five ducks.
