CEPT’s Think Kosh: The Start of a Bright Engineering Journey

Synopsis of the Article

CEPT University in Ahmedabad is opening its doors to young, curious minds this summer with an exciting initiative called Think Kosh. Designed specially for students from grades 9 to 12, this program is all about making learning fun, interactive, and practical. Running from April 22 to May 17, 2025, Think Kosh offers a series of workshops and competitions for school students who dream of becoming engineers.

Organized by the Faculty of Technology at CEPT University, Think Kosh allows students to explore real engineering concepts through hands-on activities. Instead of just reading from books, students get to build things, break them, test their ideas, and even compete for prizes. These workshops are not only educational but also very engaging and creative.

Engineering is more than just formulas—it’s about solving real-world problems. And that’s exactly what CEPT wants to show students through this program. According to Professor Aanal Shah, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Think Kosh is about giving early exposure to how engineers think and work.

“We want students to understand how engineering can solve human-centered problems,” said Prof. Shah. “It’s not just about machines or buildings. It’s about using smart thinking to improve lives. Our goal is to guide young minds through fun yet meaningful learning that helps them decide if engineering is the right career for them.”

The program features nine different workshops and competitions, each focusing on a different aspect of engineering. Here’s a quick look:

All participants will receive certificates and can win prizes and special offers. These activities are designed to boost problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork—all essential for aspiring engineers.

As an added bonus, CEPT University is collaborating with the Vikram A Sarabhai Community Science Centre (VASCSC) to organize a STEM Studio Bootcamp. This one-week session will be open to students from grades 8 to 12. It’s another great opportunity for young learners to get hands-on experience in science and technology.

Parents and students who want to learn more about CEPT’s programs, eligibility, and admission details can attend the Open House sessions:

These sessions are perfect for anyone who wants a closer look at how CEPT shapes the next generation of engineers and problem solvers.

Think Kosh is not just a summer program—it’s a stepping stone for students who want to explore the world of engineering. With expert mentors, fun activities, and lots of learning, this initiative by CEPT University is sure to inspire and empower young minds.

If you’re a student from grades 9 to 12 who loves solving problems and building things, Think Kosh could be your perfect summer plan!
