Chaitar Vasava From AAP TO Tribal Party?
The Aam Aadmi Party Faces A Massive Blow In Gujarat As Its Key Tribal Leader Gets 7 Years Jailed.
Whatever power the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has in Gujarat is only because of its local leaders. If these leaders are not there, AAP has no existence in Gujarat. These three leaders are the pillars of AAP in Gujarat: Gopal Italia in South Gujarat, Isudan Gadhvi in Saurashtra, and Chaitar Vasava in the Narmada district and the tribal community.
As you know, just yesterday, the lower court sentenced Chaitar Vasava to seven years in prison. There are two main reasons why this action was taken against Chaitar Vasava.
Reason Number One: First, Chaitar Vasava and the Bhil tribals are demanding a separate Bhil Pradesh called Bhilistan. This includes some parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. By joining parts of these four states, they want a separate Bhil Pradesh, also known as Bhilistan. Now, whether it is the BJP government or any other government, nobody would like even a small piece of their land to go to another region.
Reason Number Two: The BJP does not have any strong tribal leader in Gujarat. The tribal belt is very large, stretching from Ambaji to Narmada. So, the BJP wants a strong leader like Chaitar Vasava on their side, because it would benefit them a lot. That is why AAP leaders are saying that the BJP invited Chaitar Vasava to join them, but Chaitar Vasava did not go. He stood his ground and is still fighting. But the BJP is trying to break him, and so on. After Chaitar Vasava was sentenced, every leader of the Aam Aadmi Party—from Isudan Gadhvi to Gopal Italia, and even Kejriwal—started blaming the BJP.
What does Gopal Italia say? “Chaitar Vasava has fought with full strength and power across Gujarat, and he has always worked to bring justice to the tribal community. The BJP tried many times to make Chaitar Vasava bow down, to scare him, and to break his morale. The Home Minister held many meetings by visiting Dediyapada. The Prime Minister came to Dediyapada. Many big leaders went to Dediyapada to break Chaitar Vasava’s morale and to make him switch sides. But Chaitar Bhai Vasava is a follower and descendant of Birsa Munda. He did not bow down before the BJP. And that is why the BJP misused government machinery. They created a fake government complainant, a government witness, a government lawyer, and government police. All government people gathered and created a fake plot against Chaitar Vasava two years ago. Chaitar Bhai was kept in jail, and inside the jail, the BJP tried everything to tell him that if he changed his party, he would not face any trouble. But Chaitar Vasava is a fighter. He is a man who fights for the tribal community and the people of Gujarat; he is not someone who bows down. The tribal community saw that there was an attempt to crush Chaitar Vasava and that the BJP was crushing him. The tribal community saw and understood this, so they made Chaitar Vasava an MLA and also gave him the Zilla Panchayat. This made the BJP very nervous, and suddenly, he was sentenced. Why, why, why? Because Chaitar Vasava does not bow down, does not fear, and does not stop. He keeps fighting and keeps raising his voice. The BJP has plotted to crush the voice of the tribals, and Chaitar Vasava will give an answer to this. The Aam Aadmi Party will surely answer, but the tribal community is also going to answer the BJP for the plot they made today.”
Now, let us also listen to Isudan Gadhvi. Isudan Gadhvi also put the blame on the BJP and said this is the BJP’s revenge. “Chaitar Vasava, who constantly fights for the tribal community, was like a thorn in the BJP’s eye. That is why cases are filed against Chaitar Bhai again and again, and he is put in jail repeatedly. Look at what happened one day: forest officials went into the land of the tribal community at two o’clock in the night and cut down the standing crop. As the local MLA, the complaint reached Chaitar Bhai Vasava. Chaitar Bhai Vasava spoke to those forest officials and said, ‘Look, you went at two o’clock at night into their standing crop. Under the law meant for water, forest, and land, this land has been given to the tribal community. You are cutting down the standing crop, and that too at two o’clock at night. What was the urgent need?’ Then, Chaitar Bhai Vasava helped make a settlement between the forest officials and the tribal leader who owns the farm. After the settlement, it was decided that a certain amount of money would be paid. After the settlement was done, a message reached the BJP that Chaitar Vasava called the forest officials and threatened them. It seems the BJP is in a race to bring leaders from all other parties into their own party by buying them, scaring them, threatening them, filing fake cases, and getting them sentenced. They want no common man to raise their voice, and everyone should be locked up in their box or warehouse. That is why when the BJP found out, they scared and threatened the officials to file a police complaint. In that matter, Chaitar Vasava even went to jail, and by running the case day-to-day, the BJP has now got Chaitar Vasava sentenced to seven years. Look at how many cases there are where punishment is given so quickly! Because Chaitar Bhai Vasava raises the issues of society, the BJP does not like it. The BJP leaders do not like it because they cannot become the voice of the tribal community, even though the government is theirs. They also offered rewards to Chaitar Bhai Vasava to join the BJP, warning him that otherwise they would do this or that. Before this, some of their attempts failed, too. Whether it was fake cases or getting him punished, they told him he would be punished if he did not join. But Chaitar Bhai Vasava, a young man fighting for the voice of the tribal community, said no to joining the BJP. He spat on the BJP’s offer and preferred to go to jail twice, but finally, the BJP played a trick and got him sentenced.”
But friends, my point is that there are many criminal cases against Chaitar Vasava from 2014, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2023. When the court has sentenced him, he must have committed a crime. Calling forest officials to your house and beating them up, scaring them by firing a gun in the air, and transferring money from their accounts to your account—this is indeed a crime. Just because you are an MLA, you do not get the right to commit crimes. My advice to AAP leaders is that instead of blaming the BJP, keep an eye on your MLA Chaitar Vasava and stop him from joining the BJP directly or indirectly. Why am I saying this? Listen to what Chaitar Vasava said:
“With the support of the Gujarat government, our honourable MP, myself, our officers, Talati, Gram Sevak, and TDO, if you look at the MGNREGA data of Gujarat today, we are in the top five. If you look at the Pradhan Mantri Awas data online, our Dediyapada taluka comes in the top five there as well. If you look at the Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana, where solar pumps are given, you can sit and check the PM Kusum Yojana on your mobile this evening…”
Chaitar Vasava is praising the BJP’s schemes. This is a sign that he is turning towards the BJP. If not today, then after five or six months, he will join the BJP directly or indirectly. Chaitar Vasava will not join the BJP directly. Everyone knows what happened in the TMC. Twenty MPs from TMC joined a party called NCPI and declared their support for the BJP. In the same way, he could join the Bharatiya Tribal Party (BAP), which was registered in Rajasthan in 2023. It could be some other party too, but this is a party that has tribals, so Chaitar Vasava might join it. After joining, he can declare his support for the BJP, which means the NDA. If he joins the BJP directly, Chaitar Vasava’s image might get ruined, and the BJP’s name could also look bad. Once any criminal leader joins the BJP, the BJP has a washing machine that washes away all their crimes and makes them clean. You must know Hardik Patel. There was even a treason case against him. All those cases have been taken back, and today Hardik Patel is an MLA in the BJP.
So friends, whether Chaitar Vasava will join BAP (Bharatiya Tribal Party) or join the BJP directly is not clear yet. This is just my opinion. So, what do you think?
