In a lavish event hosted by the NCC Directorate Gujarat today, the newly built NCC Leadership Academy in Navli, District Anand, was officially opened by the Hon. Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel.
With the imaginative assistance of the Gujarati government, this state-of-the-art facility was created to give NCC trainees smart classroom training in discipline, leadership, and national service. The institution represents a big step in the direction of nation-building and youth empowerment.
Modern housing, training, and administrative facilities for 200 cadets are part of the academy’s Phase I, which was constructed at a cost of ₹5 crore. Phase II, which is currently underway and with a proposed budget of ₹25 crore, will increase the facility’s capacity to 600 cadets, making it a leading training facility in central Gujarat.
The “Yuva Aapda Training Camp” and the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC), which are set for July 28–August 6, 2025, will mark the start of the academy’s operations. The campus has amenities including a drill ground, gun range, obstacle course, digital classrooms, and fully furnished housing that are all intended to develop future leaders.
After Rajkot and Ahmedabad, this is Gujarat’s third NCC Leadership Academy, and it will be run by the Vallabh Vidyanagar Group Headquarters.
The school is evidence of the Gujarat government’s dedication to youth development and the NCC’s goal of teaching India’s youth civic duty, discipline, and patriotism.
