During the visit, General Chauhan spoke about Operation Sindoor, a recent military action where soldiers showed great courage. He honoured the bravery and dedication of the troops who successfully stopped several attacks by enemies from the west. He said the soldiers’ actions showed true courage, sacrifice, and professionalism.

He was also shown the latest Air Defence systems that were used during the operation. These systems help protect our airspace and ensure the safety of the people and the nation.

General Chauhan was joined by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, the Army Commander of the South Western Command, and Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, who heads the South Western Air Command of the Indian Air Force. Together, they held strategic discussions with senior military commanders and reviewed how prepared the bases are for future operations.

The CDS highlighted how well the different branches of the military — the Army and the Air Force — worked together. This cooperation is called inter-service synergy, and it helps make our defences stronger.

He also thanked the local civil administration for their help during tough times. He said that when the military and civil authorities work hand in hand, it becomes easier to handle any situation.

General Chauhan’s visit sent a clear message — India stands united, strong, and always ready to protect its borders. He reminded everyone that our soldiers are always on guard so that every citizen can live in peace and safety.

The visit brought a sense of pride to the forces and showed the country’s deep respect for the soldiers who protect the nation day and night.
