District and Station Commanders Conference 2026 boosts Gujarat security
DISTRICT AND STATION COMMANDERS’ AND REGIONAL WORKS CONFERENCE (DSCC) 2026 CONCLUDES AT GANDHINAGAR
The XIXth District and Station Commanders’ and XVIth Regional Works Conference 2026 was conducted on 17–18 Apr 26 at Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (North West), Gandhinagar, under the Chairmanship of Inspector General Tekur Sashi Kumar, TM, Commander Coast Guard Region (North West).
The two-day conference brought together District & Station Commanders, Superintendents, and Officers-in-Charge of the Region for intensive deliberations to review and strengthen Operational Preparedness, Human Resource Management, Infrastructure Development, and Technical Capabilities across the Region’s Area of Responsibility (AoR).
In his address, the Regional Commander lauded the steadfast professionalism, dedication and operational excellence demonstrated by all personnel of this strategic Region in safeguarding India’s maritime frontiers. He reviewed the Region’s Operational Readiness, Technical Management, Infrastructure and Human Resource Development initiatives, reaffirming the Regional Headquarters’ commitment to further consolidating its capabilities, technological edge and operational reach.
Deliberations encompassed the sharing of new ideas, emerging professional challenges, and experiential inputs, collectively aimed at charting a robust roadmap for the effective execution of the Indian Coast Guard’s charter and the corresponding growth of regional infrastructure. The Flag Officer categorically emphasised the imperative of continual training, physical fitness and mental well-being among all ranks, alongside fostering an innovative approach to duties with unwavering regard for the safety of men and materiel.
The conference underscores CGRHQ (NW)’s pivotal role in ensuring maritime safety, security and environmental protection within its AoR, in alignment with the national vision of a secure, stable and resilient maritime domain.
