Jwala Films and Entertainment, which is based in Ahmedabad, has been active in film and event work for many years and is known locally for building platforms for new faces through shows and short films. The company is organising a grand fashion show called “Mr & Miss Gujarat-2025” today, Sunday, 28 December 2025, from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm at S.K. Farm, near Rajpath Club, on the busy S.G. Highway in Bodakdev, Ahmedabad, a stretch that has grown into a key hub for hotels, showrooms and high-profile events. This prime location along S.G. Highway helps such events draw not only contestants and their families but also fashion watchers, talent scouts and brand partners who prefer easily reachable and modern venues.

Sharing details about the event in Ahmedabad, Lions International representative Dr Pooja Gautam explained during a press conference that a respected real estate brand from Ahmedabad, Sambrananth City, has joined as the main sponsor, with owner Mr Vishal Soni backing the show. Ahmedabad’s real estate sector has grown rapidly in recent years, with many developers using culture and lifestyle events to connect with young buyers and urban families, making such sponsorships a natural fit. The event is also associated with Lions International, a global service organisation known for its work in community welfare, youth development and health-related projects, which often support education, leadership and cultural platforms for young people.

Along with the title sponsor, several known names have joined hands with the show, including HealthX Plus, Smile Care – Expert House of Dentistry, Ratnajali Group, HCC Hospital as Official Health Partner, 32 Pearl as Official Confidence & Elegance Partner, Chandi Kala Jewellers and Mantavya News as Media Partner. Health and dental brands increasingly associate with fashion and talent events to promote themes like fitness, grooming and self-confidence, which match well with the needs of young contestants preparing to step into modelling and film careers. Jewellery and lifestyle brands, along with regional news channels such as Mantavya News, often support such shows to reach local audiences who are interested in style, entertainment and success stories from their own cities and towns.

Small Girls Getting Ready Show Their Talent in The Future

Jwala Films and Entertainment was founded in 2002 and, since 2014, has been regularly organising grand, career-shaping events that aim to discover and polish fresh talent from Gujarat. Earlier editions of “Mr & Miss Gujarat” and similar contests in the state have helped create a pipeline of confident young models, anchors and performers, with social media now allowing them to share their portfolios, ramp walk clips and audition videos widely. Such events have become an important step for young people from non-metro backgrounds, who may not have personal contacts in the film and fashion world but can still reach casting teams and production houses through these platforms.

With the successful planning of this latest event, Jwala Films’ owner and producer-director, Mrs Manisha Rajesh Gautam, continues her effort to give a strong platform to young men and women from Gujarat and other parts of India. Over the years, many contestants from similar regional shows have moved ahead to roles in Bollywood, the South Indian film industry, Gujarati cinema, modelling campaigns and fashion weeks, showing how a single state-level title can open doors to national-level auditions and brand work. Industry trackers note that casting teams often watch local pageants and Instagram feeds linked to such contests to find new faces who are camera-friendly, disciplined and comfortable on stage.

In this ongoing journey, Dr Lucky Gautam and Dr Pooja Gautam have now joined the work more actively, adding professional and organisational strength to the team behind the show. Lions International members and other professionals often support youth events by bringing in mentoring sessions on topics such as communication, health, social responsibility and leadership, which helps contestants grow beyond only the glamour side. Their combined efforts aim to make this event not just a one-evening show but a stepping stone in the personal and professional development of the participating youth.

Entry passes for this fashion show have been made available free of cost, which opens the doors to students, young professionals and families who might otherwise hesitate to attend paid shows. Free entry also helps build a larger, more diverse audience, giving contestants the experience of performing in front of a full house, which is valuable training for those dreaming of careers in film, television or live events. For sponsors and partners, a packed venue also creates better brand visibility and stronger word-of-mouth reach across the city and on social media platforms such as Instagram and YouTube.

Alongside the main fashion show, preparations are already underway to start a film project with the selected talented contestants in the near future. Across India, many production houses are now choosing to cast fresh faces from reality shows and modelling contests, as they bring high enthusiasm, strong social media presence and a natural connect with young viewers. By linking the contest directly to a film project, Jwala Films and Entertainment increases the real career value of the title, turning the event from a one-night crown into a gateway to long-term work in cinema and digital content.
