Gujarat’s Gandhinagar, June 19, 2025. In keeping with India’s Amrit Kaal Vision 2047, Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Home Affairs, keeps expanding its international reach and scholarly collaborations. From June 11 to June 16, 2025, a high-level RRU delegation travelled to the State of Qatar.
Key institutions and stakeholders were engaged during the tour, including the Embassy of India in Doha and the Skill Development Centre (SDC), a company that works to improve employment and skill competency among the Indian diaspora by providing high-quality training and certification.
The Deputy Chief of Mission Skills Development Centre (SDC) in Doha, founded in 2002, is a renowned organisation committed to fostering talent and personality development via academic pursuits. It is headed by H.E. Vipul, the Indian Ambassador to Qatar, and Shri Sandeep Kumar. Along with hosting significant events like Swaralaya, which honours its heritage through exhibitions and performances, SDC continues to be a thriving hub for the Indian diaspora in Qatar to participate in holistic development. In order to upskill Indian people in Qatar and match their capabilities with both regional labour demands and international standards, SDC is essential.
