This groundbreaking initiative aims to boost sustainable employment in Gujarat.
The launch of NaMo iHUB was marked by the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the presence of Shri Rushikesh Patel, the Honourable Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Higher & Technical Education, Law and Justice, Government of Gujarat. The event was attended by local officials, academicians, and industry leaders from the Mehsana District.
The Centre of Excellence (CoE) is a significant step forward for the Amrit Mehsana Mission. It will serve as the central body for developing industry-ready talent to meet the demands of various industry clusters in the district. The hub will not only address regional skill development challenges but also foster collaborations between industries and academia. This will help create job opportunities not just locally but also on a global scale.
NSDC, as the knowledge and technology partner, will provide strategic support to ensure that the courses offered are aligned with the latest market trends. With a capacity to train 2,000 individuals annually, the CoE will focus on key sectors like manufacturing, automotive, electronics, agriculture, and textiles.
Through partnerships with over 100 industries and MSMEs, the Center will offer work-integrated programs that provide specialized and practical learning experiences. Additionally, with NSDC’s support, the NaMo iHub will provide international placement programs, preparing learners for global opportunities.
