SOCIAL, India’s most popular local café-bar, presents its most daring culinary chapter yet. It features a dynamic all-day menu that offers creative flavours, introduces novel formats, and highlights visually striking dishes in addition to its beloved staples. Inspired by the communities, appetites, and culinary changes influencing how Indians eat today, SOCIAL is adding more to the table with this launch, which has been dubbed The Big Drop.
Breakfast, Snacks & Chaat, BOSS Burgers, Munchies, Substantials, Desserts, Beverages, and more are all included in the latest drop. With the addition of categories like Dunkables, Thalis, Breakfast Sandwiches, and Ramen, it adds new life to the table. From breakfast and tea breaks to dinners, dates, and late-night viewings, the drop remains true to SOCIAL’s core value of providing filling, inventive meals with a distinctive touch. Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Dehradun, and Indore are among the ten cities where the new menu is currently available at more than fifty-five locations.
SOCIAL continues to uphold its core values as it marks 11 years of influencing India’s café-bar culture: to create hyperlocal places that are familiar, where the food is served in the local tongue, the atmosphere is familiar, and the experience changes with its community. A daring next step in that quest is the Big Drop. The additions combine modern and inventive offerings with comfort, curiosity, and cultural storytelling, all served with the distinctive SOCIAL twist that distinguishes the neighbourhood café. The additions draw inspiration from India’s social spaces, the bustle of chaat stalls, the nostalgia of college canteens, the edge of late-night thelas, and the flair of today’s Instagram cravings.
The founder and managing director of Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., Riyaaz Amlani, shared his comments on the most recent food drop. “When we started SOCIAL, the goal wasn’t just to serve food and drinks; it was to build spaces where people feel a sense of belongingness,” he stated. Everything we have done has been influenced by that notion. India’s eating habits have changed over time, becoming more rapid, fluid, and expressive. With this drop, we’re not just following that trend—we’re spearheading it with food that’s flavourful, playful, and grounded in modern eating habits. From a lone chai to a shared matcha, a Toast-E-Galawati to an avocado toast, a Nihari Prashant to a Kimchi Momo Ramen, and a Tokyo Pinja Meringue Sandwich when the mood strikes, these plates are not merely trendy; they are thoughtful, filling, and made to fit any occasion. Above all, they preserve the one thing that has been constant for us: the sense of belonging.
Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. Group Executive Chef Chef Shamsul Wahid discussed the new drop, saying, “The Big Drop gave us a chance to play with flavours that feel familiar but show up in completely new ways.” Every meal, from the most basic egg sandwiches prepared correctly to ramen influenced by regional Indian gravies, has been designed to prioritise comfort with a twist that makes it distinctly SOCIAL. In order to provide food that feels both rooted and fresh, we have drawn inspiration from street-side nibbles, train station breakfasts, home kitchens, and international models. It’s familiar cuisine that has been updated to fit the mood, appetite, and tempo of the modern world.
THINGS NEW IN THE MASS DROP:
The Big Drop offers a novel combination of menu items with strong tastes, comforting familiarities, and amusing twists. Snacks for breakfast (New Category)
This new area, which makes its debut on the SOCIAL menu, satisfies India’s increasing need for filling, portable breakfast options. This category is ideal for both slow brunchers and grab-and-go diners because it offers classic gammon and cheese and tenderloin fried egg with sauerkraut, as well as soothing combos like the Cheese Scramble and Avo and international inspirations like the Tokyo Pinja Meringue Sandwich.

Reimagining traditional Indian gravies through a ramen lens, highlights like the Kerala Prawn Stew Ramen and Nihari Mutton Ramen are warm, rich, and unabashedly soulful.
SNACKS AND CHAT
This segment, which enhances local legends with the flair of social media, is a love letter to India’s Galli culture. The Golgappa, Dimaag Ka Dahi Bhalla, OG Bambai Sandwich, Toast-E-Galawati, Nihari Prashant, and other recent additions pack a punch and are suitable for sharing or eating on their own.
The new category, DUNKABLES
A fresh homage to India’s age-old tea tradition has been unveiled by SOCIAL. For a casual get-together over cutting tea or a 4 PM workplace escape, the Dunkables area offers traditional chai pairings such as Bun Maska, Khari, and Assorted Biscuits.
MOMOS
An iconic street dish with a social spin. This category, which now features daring Desi fillings, honours the widespread love of dumplings in India with new entries including Pop Corn Chicken Momos and Soupy Shrimp Momos.
MUNCHIES
SOCIAL’s tribute to the art of snacking is the Munchies section, which features flavourful, robust little dishes that are perfect for sharing, nibbling, and returning for more. With fresh flavour explosions, BOSS BURGERS Social’s decadent burger section is back.
