In the 5-15 MPPA Category of the 2025 ACI-ASQ Global Rankings for Passenger Satisfaction, SVPIA has held the top spot for two consecutive quarters.

According to passenger feedback, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA) has been named #1 in the second quarter of 2025 by Airport Council International (ACI), which is a worldwide acknowledged Airport Service Quality (ASQ) evaluation.
Among airports in the 5–15 MPPA category, SVPIA placed first in the passenger satisfaction category and received a flawless 5/5 score in both Q1 and Q2 2025. Additionally, in Q2 2025, the airport was voted #1 for passenger experience. Overall Passenger Experience shows how passengers evaluated their experience through the airport—not just how satisfied they were, but also how smooth, comfortable, and joyful the whole experience felt. In contrast, Overall Passenger Satisfaction concentrates on waiting times, ease of navigating the airport, staff courtesy, etc.
The airport has continuously ranked in the top quartiles worldwide and in Asia-Pacific, according to the ACI-ASQ Departures survey of passengers departing from SVPIA, in important categories like:
● accessibility of check-in counters
● quick wait times for security screening and check-in
● politeness and helpfulness of airport staff and security personnel
● availability of seating and cleanliness in gate areas
● ambience and health & safety throughout the terminal
This achievement demonstrates both SVPIA’s adherence to ACI’s rigorous benchmarking approach and the findings of a survey that was performed between April and June 2025. The airport’s emotional score, which measures how travellers feel after their trip, was also exceptionally high, confirming the satisfying travel experience that SVPIA aims to provide.
