A PhD student at Swarnim Institute of Technology has finished his work on urban mobility solutions.
Gandhinagar, 06 June 2025: It is with great pride that Swarrnim Institute of Technology, a division of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University, announces the completion and presentation of Ms. Rachna Desai’s doctoral study.
Through her research project, “Innovative Transport Solutions – A New Mobility Vision for Navi Mumbai,” Ms. Desai, a mathematics research scholar, offered doable solutions for enhancing the office commute between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. In order to cut down on travel time, alleviate traffic, and provide daily commuters with an affordable and environmentally friendly option, the study suggests improving government-run bus services.
Under the direction of Professor Dr. Leena Patekar, the doctoral study was carried out.
Ms. Desai and Dr. Patekar are commended for their efforts and accomplishments by the Swarrnim Institute of Technology and the Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University. The university is dedicated to funding studies that tackle pressing issues.
