United for Peace: Security Forces Score Big Wins in Manipur’s Troubled Zones

The Indian Army and Assam Rifles, working closely with the Manipur Police, CRPF, BSF, and ITBP, launched many coordinated joint operations throughout the hill and valley districts of Manipur, including Jiribam, Kangpokpi, Churachandpur, Bishnupur, Tengnoupal, Imphal East, and Imphal West. These operations were based on specific information.
Four cadres from hill and valley-based groups were apprehended as a result of the operations, and 62 firearms, 30 IEDs, grenades, ammo, and other warlike supplies were recovered.
Joint activities in the districts of Imphal East, Jiribam, Kangpokpi, Churachandpur, Bishnupur, Imphal West, and Tengnoupal resulted in significant recoveries. Assault guns, mortars, homemade weaponry, grenades, and the demolition of many hidden bunkers were among the noteworthy recoveries.
These persistent initiatives demonstrate the security forces’ steadfast commitment to preserving stability and bringing peace back to the state. The recovered objects and the people who were arrested have been turned over to the Manipur Police for additional examination.
