MOTIVATIONAL TALK INSPIRES NCC CADETS TO JOIN THE INDIAN ARMY

A motivational talk on “Joining the Indian Army” was conducted at NCC Headquarters, Law Garden, Ahmedabad, by the Army Recruitment Office, Ahmedabad, on 28 June 2025. The event was organised to encourage cadets for a career in the Indian Armed Forces, particularly the Indian Army. Over 322 NCC cadets from the Senior and Junior Divisions participated with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.

In his address, the speaker emphasised the honour and pride associated with serving in the Indian Army. He highlighted how the Army is not just a profession but a way of life – one rooted in the core values of duty, loyalty, integrity, and courage. The talk focused on the transformational journey of a soldier, from a youth full of energy to a leader of men, a protector of the nation, and an inspiration for society. Special attention was given to the various entry pathways into the Indian Army for NCC cadets. The speaker encouraged cadets to make full use of this opportunity and take pride in the fact that their NCC training already gives them an edge in physical fitness, leadership, and discipline.

The event also featured a Q&A session, where cadets asked questions ranging from life in the Army, preparation and how to join. The speaker responded with insight and sincerity, offering practical advice as well as motivational stories from real-life military experiences. A short documentary on the Indian Army was also screened during the program, showcasing life in the Army, the camaraderie within regiments, and the diverse operational challenges the Army undertakes

The event concluded with a rousing rendition of the ‘JAI HIND’ and a collective NCC pledge to continue serving the country with commitment. Cadets left the venue visibly inspired, with many expressing their determination to join the Indian Army and serve the nation with uprightness.
