The ‘Jai Bhim’, ’83, and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ lead the 2022 IFFM Award nominations -Newzdaddy

The top contenders for the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) Award 2022 are the Suriya-starring film “Jai Bhim,” Kabir Khan’s sports drama “83,” Alia Bhatt’s “Gangubai Kathiwadi,” Shoojit Sircar’s “Sardar Udham,” and Aparna Sen’s “The Rapist,” according to the organisers on Tuesday.

The 13th iteration of the gala will take place both physically and virtually in the Victorian capital from August 12–20.

The movie with the most nominations is “Jai Bhim,” which received four. “83,” “Gangubai Kathiwadi,” “Sardar Udham,” “Jalsa,” and “The Rapist,” which each received three nominations, are close behind.
The candidates for the best movie include include “Paka,” “Badhaai Do,” and “Minnal Murali” (River of Blood).
