Ahmedabad, December 12, 2022: IDFC Mutual Fund announced a workshop for mutual fund distributors (MFDs) on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Hotel Nalanda, Near Mithakali Circle, Ahmedabad at 10:30 a.m. Broadly, the workshop will focus on understanding market cycles while keeping pace with the changes that are currently seen in the economy, how to manage the behavioral patterns of customers, executing the right placement of the products depending on the changes in the market, and stewarding the Investment solutions as per the changing situations to make them work in the investors’ favor. Irrespective of whether the distributor is registered with IDFC Mutual Fund or not, they can attend the workshop. The session will focus on Equity Bazaar, an interactive game-based approach to help mutual fund distributors appreciate the various aspects of Factor Investing. This program will highlight key concepts under each factor. The framework aids in understanding the interplay and impact of investment choices on returns. Mutual Fund Distributors can expect to learn about four different investment styles of alpha creation – Valuation, Allocation, Sector Rotation, and Momentum.
IDFC Mutual Fund has conducted similar workshops for MFDs in Allahabad, Lucknow, Durgapur, Asansol, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, Ranchi, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Pune, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Chennai attended by over 500 MFDs and benefited from the knowledge gained on various heuristics and biases in the Behavioral Finance module.
