Indian actor Sidharth Malhotra, who was born on January 16, 1985, is well known for his work in Hindi movies. He began his career as a fashion model before switching to acting. He appeared in a minor role in the television serial Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan in 2009, marking his acting debut. Later, he assisted Karan Johar on the set of the 2010 film My Name Is Khan. He made his acting debut as the lead in Johar’s teen film Student of the Year (2012).
Malhotra acted in monetarily successful films like Hasee Toh Phasee, Ek Villain, and Kapoor & Sons (2016). Prior to being recognized for his role as Vikram Batra in the war film Shershaah (2021), which resulted in a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor, he saw a fall in his career.
