Mumbai. Porsche India had its best-ever sales year in 2022 with a 64% increase over the prior year thanks to significant consumer enthusiasm in its SUV and sports car lineups.
The year saw a total of 779 retail sales, up from 474 units the year before. At the time, this was Porsche India’s highest performance since 2014.
The good outcome, according to Manolito Vujicic, Brand Director for Porsche India, demonstrates that the increasing trend that began in 2021 continued through 2022.
With a 69% increase in sales of our SUV models, highlighted by the Porsche Cayenne, which finished the year with 399 retail units, it has been a successful year for Porsche India, according to Vujicic.
“In 2022, we welcomed the hiring of three new Porsche Center partners in Bengaluru, Chennai, and Kolkata. We also launched the Porsche Approved program, which provides pre-approved vehicles with a 12-month warranty, and we had an amazing Porsche Experience track event for an entire month. More than 450 aficionados participated in this event, and each one got the chance to test drive every Porsche model available in a dynamic, safe setting under the direction of our fully qualified Porsche Driving Instructors.
