Fun Revelations from the Set of “My Name is Khan” – Koffee with Karan Season 8

Hotstar Specials’ popular show, Koffee with Karan, is back for its eighth season, promising edgier and crazier conversations with your favorite Bollywood stars. In the upcoming episodes, celebrities like Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Sara Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and more will be gracing the couch, sharing candid moments and stories.

Karan Johar, the host, director, and producer of the show, revealed a hilarious incident from the filming of “My Name Is Khan.” During a shoot in Los Angeles, as fans clamored for Shah Rukh Khan’s attention, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, who were assistant directors at the time, decided to entertain the crowd by posing as Shah Rukh.

According to Johar, the duo took pictures with excited fans who were eager to have a snapshot with Shah Rukh Khan. Johar playfully teased them, asking if they were really pretending to be Shah Rukh. Sidharth Malhotra explained that Varun Dhawan enthusiastically offered fans a chance to take pictures with the superstar.

Varun Dhawan defended himself, saying that Sidharth was equally involved and even collected a few phone numbers. Amused by their antics, Johar shared that both actors were particularly engaged with the costume department. The next day, Karan Malhotra, the director, approached Johar and jokingly suggested sending Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra home as they were supposedly distracting the costume department.
