Balvantsinh Rajput, Cabinet Minister of Industries, Civil Aviation, Rural Development, Labour, and Employment, Govt of Gujarat, along with A.S Kiran Kumar, Former Chairperson of ISRO, and other dignitaries, officially opened the event.
LIBF EXPO 2024 takes a significant step towards fostering social inclusion by focusing on the mainstreaming of rural women entrepreneurs. Inspired by the success stories of start-ups like Lijjat Papad, the expo aims to empower women in rural areas, offering specific pavilions and investment opportunities for start-ups led by empowered women.

Shri. Balvantsinh Rajput highlighted Gujarat’s pivotal role in India’s economic landscape. From its leading position in the ‘ease of doing business’ to its impressive 33% export-oriented status, Gujarat has been a trailblazer. The state’s contribution to India’s GDP, its top ranking in incubating start-ups, and its commitment to skill enhancement underscores its economic prowess.
A.S. Kiran Kumar, Former Chairman of ISRO, emphasized the importance of LIBF Expo 2024 in fostering innovation.
