The Adani Foundation and DMIHER Work Together to Create a Global Healthcare Centre of Excellence

The Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research (DMIHER), a deemed-to-be university located in Maharashtra, has partnered with the Adani Foundation, the Adani Group’s CSR arm, to establish it as a global Centre of Excellence (CoE) in the provision of affordable healthcare education and delivery.
The multifaceted conglomerate’s conviction that access to high-quality healthcare and education is essential to nation-building is reflected in this partnership, which is motivated by Chairman Gautam Adani’s philosophy of “Seva hi Sadhana hai” (Service is Worship).
Enhancing the Healthcare Education Ecosystem in India. The goal of the partnership with DMIHER is to increase the institution’s influence and reach in the areas of clinical research, community health, and academic innovation.
Currently, DMIHER runs 15 institutes and 5 teaching hospitals. It provides 217 academic programs in 13 different disciplines, including fellowship, doctorate, postgraduate, undergraduate, and super-speciality courses.
The Adani Group’s “Temple of Healthcare” idea, which reimagines healthcare facilities as institutions of service, dignity, and compassion rather than just treatment centres, is in line with this partnership.
The Adani Foundation and DMIHER’s partnership will open the door to high-quality, scalable, and reasonably priced healthcare and education. It also reflects the goal of the Adani Foundation, which is to improve communities by providing meaningful service where compassion, opportunity, and access come together.
