Adani Partners with Kowa for Green Hydrogen Sales in Japan

Ahmedabad, September 14, 2023: Adani Enterprises Ltd., a well-known company, has teamed up with Kowa Holdings Asia Pte Ltd. to create a special partnership. This partnership called a joint venture (JV), will help sell and promote eco-friendly products like green ammonia and green hydrogen, along with other related items. They will focus on selling these products in Japan, Taiwan, and Hawaii.
This partnership with Kowa is a smart move because Adani and Kowa have been working together for a long time. Adani has a company called Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL), which is working on making green hydrogen and its products. They are planning to start making green hydrogen by the year 2027, and they want to make a lot of it – up to 3 million metric tonnes per year – in the next 10 years. This will require a big investment of about USD 50 billion.
ANIL has a plan to make an entire system for green hydrogen. They will make the things needed to create green hydrogen, then make the hydrogen itself, and also create other eco-friendly products like green ammonia and green methanol.
Adani Group has a lot of experience in making things for renewable energy, building big projects, and getting things done. This makes them really good at making green hydrogen in India. They can do it at a low cost, which is great for the environment and for business.
They can even send their products to other countries because they are close to a big port in Mundra. This makes it easy to export green hydrogen and its products.
