Australia’s SAE Joins GLS To Launch First Global B.Design (Hons.), Revolutionising Creative Careers In India
GLS University has launched India’s first Global B.Design (Hons.) programme in collaboration with Australia’s SAE Institute, focusing on Animation & VFX and Game Development. This four-year undergraduate course is the first in India to offer globally benchmarked specialisations in these creative media fields, combining academic rigour with hands-on training. GLS University, established in 1927 by the Gujarat Law Society, stands out as the only Indian institution authorised to provide SAE Institute’s internationally recognised curriculum and certification, marking SAE’s formal entry into the Indian education market.
The SAE Institute has a long history, having begun as a tiny audio engineering school in Sydney in 1976. It has grown to 47 campuses in 20 countries over the course of almost 50 years, emerging as a global leader in technology and creative media education. In a variety of subjects, including animation, audio, computer science, film, games, IT, music, and VFX & virtual production, it provides project-based learning.
