Gujarati Suspense Thriller “Gum” Set to Thrill Audiences on September 22

The upcoming Gujarati suspense thriller film “Goom” is all set to hit theatres on September 22. Today, the film’s trailer and poster were unveiled by the actors at the popular Pepper Fusion restaurant in Ahmedabad.

Akhil Kotak, the producer, director, and actor behind this intriguing movie, is confident that “Goom” will capture the hearts of Gujarati audiences with its captivating storyline, music, and suspense.

Kotak attributes the success of his Gujarati films to his dedicated team, whom he considers as family. His journey began in 2019 with the Gujarati film “Nakkama,” and since then, he has consistently impressed audiences with hits like “2nd Apartment,” “Love U Pappa,” and “Rudan,” which garnered attention at national and international film festivals.

Now, he’s back with “Goom,” a suspense thriller that’s generating buzz on various social media platforms. This Gujarati film features a unique blend of music and dance-filled songs, setting it apart from typical suspense films in any language.

The film’s soundtrack not only enhances the story but also promises a fresh experience for the audience. “Goom” follows the story of a married couple in their mid-thirties. When the husband loses his memory and finds himself in a different world, a series of mysterious events unfolds.

Produced by Kutch Talkies Narshi Devshi Manjal Reldia Kutch and directed by Akhil Kotak, the film stars Akhil Kotak, Rahi Rathore, and Rohit Nihalani in lead roles. Pushparaj Gunjan is the Director of Photography, while Asif Ajmeri and Vinod Parmar are responsible for the story and dialogues. Naresh Parmar takes on the editing, and Prateek Vadgama is the line producer.

Komal Desai serves as the production head, and the enchanting music for the film is composed by Neeraj Vyas, with lyrics by Dr. Neeraj Mehta. The songs are sung by well-known Gujarati film actress and singer Kashish Rathore, along with Neeraj Vyas.

The film will be distributed to various theatres in Gujarat by Rupam Entertainment Vandan Shah. With its release date just around the corner, the cast and producer-director of “Gum” are eagerly anticipating the audience’s response, hoping that this suspenseful Gujarati thriller will be a hit.
